Features

Everything your household runs on,
in one app.

A shared calendar, recipes, meal planner, groceries, pantry, tasks, rewards, and lists, plus an AI assistant that connects them. Everything talks to everything, so the recipe you save tonight becomes Tuesday's dinner, Wednesday's grocery list, and Thursday's pantry update.

One shared place, so it's not all in your head — and not all on you.

01

A shared calendar for the whole household.

Everyone’s events in one color-coded view. Add school, work, and soccer in three taps. Two-home families and roommates supported.

Parents and a young child sharing a quiet moment at home.
02

Recipes, meal plans, and a grocery list that builds itself.

Save recipes from any URL. Plan a week of dinners by searching through your recipes. Orbrey turns the plan into a shopping list, sorted by aisle.

Four people preparing pizza around a kitchen table with fresh vegetables.
03

Chores, rewards, and shared lists the family can see.

Assign tasks by name with auto-repeats. Kids earn gems for chores and trade them for prizes you set. Plus shared lists for packing, gifts, and to-dos.

Everyone’s schedule and the lists that hold the week together.

Calendar

Everyone's schedule in one shared view.

Color-coded events for every household member. Roommates, partners, and two-home families all share the same week. Add an event in seconds.

  • Member colours. Each person picks a colour. It shows up the same way across every view.
  • Multiple views. Day, week, month, year, and a running schedule. Switch with a tap.
  • Recurring events. Set a daily, weekly, or every-other-Tuesday rule and the calendar handles the repeat.
  • Two-home support. Pickups, drop-offs, and shared weekends stay in sync across two households.

Lists

Shared lists for packing, gifts, and everything else.

Birthday gifts, packing for the weekend, books to lend back to Aunt Pat. Anything that needs a list and a few people working on it.

  • Live for the household. Add or check off and everyone in the household sees it instantly.
  • Reusable. Save last year’s packing list and reopen it next time.
  • More than a checklist. Mix checkboxes, bullets, numbered lists, headings, and plain text in the same list. Use it as a packing list, a meeting agenda, a wishlist, or whatever shape you need.
  • Archive when done. Finished lists move to the archive, ready to bring back later.

Take dinner off your plate.

Save a recipe, plan the week, build the list, keep the pantry honest. The parts of the kitchen finally talk to each other.

Recipes

Save recipes. Cook them your way.

Save a recipe from a URL or paste in raw text from your notes app. Orbrey reads it, normalises it to your household, and gets it ready to cook.

  • Smart import. Paste a URL or drop in text from your notes. Orbrey pulls out the ingredients, method, and timing for you.
  • Speaks your household’s dialect. Measurements convert between metric and imperial automatically, so the recipe matches whichever your household uses. Ingredient names match what your family actually says: cilantro vs coriander, sorted.
  • Servings that scale. Change the serving count and every ingredient amount and step instruction updates in place. A four-person dinner for two, or for ten.
  • Cook mode and pantry sync. The recipe page keeps the screen awake while you cook. Mark cooked when done and Orbrey deducts the ingredients you used from your pantry.

Meal planner

Plan the week. With AI, or one night at a time.

Add a recipe to any night of the week, or connect your AI assistant to draft the whole thing. The plan stays open beside the calendar, the grocery list, and the pantry.

  • Week view. All seven nights in one place. Add, swap, or clear a meal in a tap.
  • AI plan-the-week. Ask Claude or ChatGPT to draft a week based on family preferences, what’s already in the pantry, and your highest-rated recipes.
  • Open the recipe in one tap. Tap any meal on the plan and you land on the recipe page, ready to cook.
  • Recurring meals. Taco Tuesday, pizza Friday, whatever sticks. Set a meal to repeat and the planner brings it back each week.

Groceries

Shared shopping lists, sorted by aisle.

Items pull in from your meal plan, your recipes, and your pantry. The list flows like the store does, and everyone in the household sees the same one in real time.

  • Custom aisle order. Sort items into your store’s layout. Each item remembers the aisle you put it in, so it lands there next time even after a delete and re-add.
  • Pantry-aware. What’s already on your shelves doesn’t end up in the basket. No third bottle of soy sauce.
  • Live for the household. Anyone in the household can add or check off. Updates show for everyone instantly.
  • Servings that match. Items added from a recipe scale to the serving count you’re cooking for.

Pantry

Know what's in your kitchen. Stop buying it twice.

Your pantry stays in sync with cooking and shopping. Tick a grocery item and it lands on the shelf. Cook a recipe and the ingredients you used come back off again.

  • Auto-deduct on cook. Mark a recipe as cooked and Orbrey removes the ingredients you used from the pantry. The count stays accurate without re-counting jars.
  • Auto-add from groceries. Tick items off your grocery list as you put them away and they land in the pantry, ready to track.
  • Stop double-buying. Lists check the pantry first. Only what you don’t already have gets added.
  • Servings matter. Adjust a recipe’s serving count and the pantry deduction matches what you actually used.

Share the load with the household.

Chores by name, gems for kids who finish them, prizes you write together.

Tasks

Assign chores by name. Earn gems as you go.

Trash night, library returns, feeding the dog. Assign each task to a person, set what it’s worth, and let Orbrey handle the rest.

  • Assigned to a name. No "someone should do this." Each task belongs to a person, not the household.
  • Gems for every task. Tick a chore done and the gems land in the right wallet. Save them up and trade them for a reward you set.
  • Repeats. Daily, weekly, every other Tuesday. Set the rule once and the task comes back on its own.
  • Big or compact view. Switch between a kid-friendly layout with large cards and a compact list that shows more tasks at once.

Rewards

Reward chores with gems. Trade them for prizes.

Each chore earns gems. Gems trade for whatever you decide: movie nights, screen time, Saturday pancakes. You write the menu together.

  • Per-kid wallets. Each member’s gem balance is theirs alone. No leaderboards or comparisons.
  • Custom prize menu. You set the rewards. A movie night of their choice, a trip to the zoo, a sleepover with a friend, ice cream after school.
  • Auto-credit. Tick a chore done and the gems land in the right wallet.
  • Save up or spend now. Everyone can see which reward each person is working towards. Spend gems on something smaller today, or keep saving for the bigger prize.
